Bananas, like avocado is an ideal transition for baby weaning. It is smooth and digestible and gum-friendly. It is a summer fruit yet available all year round and quite cheap. Just one medium-sized of this wonder fruit will make 8 ounces of banana puree. This is best for baby’s 4 months or older.

- If you are traditional mom and you are after the aesthetics, then you would surely look for blemish-free skin of banana. But if you are practitioner organic consumer, then you would understand that spots on the skin of the bananas are not only healthy but also indicates that it is grown with insects.
- Fresh bananas are in yellow color. You can also store it in clean dry place in a rice container. You can clean it by using a mixture of water and vinegar to clean it off any pesticides (especially if it has been stored for a long time in grocery) and bacteria.
