- Cauliflowers are available all year round but it is more inexpensive during fall. Choose the one with white creamy heads and firm florets. Refuse the one with brown patches.
- Eggplants also called as aubergine in French are in different shapes and varieties. There is now a new variety that resembles zucchini. The thing with eggplants, its seeds are edible. So do not worry for it. The rule of thumb here is to test its firmness by touching it using your thumb and index finger.
- Since both can collect much pesticide residue (floret of cauliflower and skin of eggplants) it is better to buy organic produce to ensure your baby’s health.
