Q: What is the Baby Bullet System?
A: A bit like an upside down blender – the Baby Bullet System has been designed to help you make healthy, nutritious meals for your baby in literally seconds. You can easily create and store a week’s worth of delicious food your baby will love in just 5 minutes!
A: Yes, all parts (except motor base) are dishwasher safe – Baby Bullet blades, Batchbowl, cups, bowls, lids and storage containers.
A: No, do not put the Baby Bullet motor base in the dishwasher.
A: The BB Cups and Containers are made out of non-toxic high-impact plastic. They do not contain any BPA (Bisphenol A) or Phthalates.
A: The Single-Serving Storage Cups approx 60 ml.
A: The Short Cups approx 350 ml.
A: The Batchbowl approx 950 ml.
A: Our Australian spec unit has a very effective 240 Volt / 60 Hz / 200 Watt motor.
A: The BB has a 2 flat pin polarized plug.
A: The Baby Bullet comes with two blades:
- Use the Baby Blend Blade for chopping, blending, pureeing – suitable for foods such as fruits, vegetables and meats.
- Use the Milling Blade for milling hard foods like rice, oats and other grains.
A: Both the baby bullet Short Cups and Storage Cups are microwave safe.
Caution : We DO NOT recommend microwaving baby food because the “hot spots” that are common in microwaved food could easily burn baby’s mouth.
A: Homemade baby food is fresh, safest food you can offer your baby. You make it – so you know exactly what you have put into the food. Jarred baby food (even Organic Baby Food) has a shelf life of 2 to 3 years (just think baby’s lunch could be older than baby – Not a nice thought ! Also, jarred food may contain preservatives, colorings and fillers.
Q: Should I Cook the Food before it goes into the Baby Bullet?
Babies can eat some foods raw (eg bananas, avocados). However, most foods will need to be steamed or boiled before they are pureed. Excellent instructions to help you make the perfect puree every time are included in the User Manual and Cookbook included with your Baby Bullet purchase.
