For this recipe, you will be needing a whole lot of veggies, spices and herbs to mix. You will need potato, sweet potato, carrots, cup green peas, cauliflower, coriander, cumin powder, garlic cloves, coriander, tomatoes, onion or pre-made garam masala. You can also add a pinch of chili (for older children).
This is best if you have all of these fresh veggies in your chiller and you run out of ideas to test your baby’s palate. You can try this recipe for your one year old + child or older children.
Ingredient Selection Tips
- Make sure all the veggies and tuber (potatoes, sweet potatoes) are firm. Choose the ones with no bruises and with even colors on their skin. No bruises of course for the cauliflower, make sure the florets are firm and not wilted.
- For the herbs like coriander, make sure it is still fresh.
