Ingredient Selection Tips
- You can choose the Barlett variety as this is quite nutritious and soft flesh. This is the only variety that also changes the color of the skin to indicate that it is already ripe.
- Pears in the market are sold before they ripen. To make it ripe for your puree, you can put in in the cool corner or in the rice container bin.
