When your baby is turning one year old, you can now start feeding your little ninja finger food in transition to more solid food. This recipe will be a level-up for your baby’s love for quinoas. For this you will be needing a whole uncooked quinoa, a zucchini, parmesan cheese, pepper, eggs, chicken or vegetable stock and olive oil.
If you have qualms in introducing egg, you can ask your pediatrician for advice. But put it first in small amount to make the quinoas stick . Wait for two hours after feeding your child for possible allergic reactions. If not, let your baby indulge.
Ingredient Selection Tips
- For one serving or a dozen of this quinoa bite size, you will just be needing half a cup of quinoa, 1 zucchini, 2 eggs and around 1/4 chicken (or you can also use the chicken or the vegetable stock).
- It is best to choose the freshest ingredients. As we always advocate, go for organic. And oh! No salt. Though parmesan cheese have salt, just sprinkle a little amount.
- Zucchinis or summer squash comes in different varieties and colors. Pick the medium-sized and plump ones.
